DEAD MAN’S PHONE

INTERACTIVE MOBILE DRAMA

‘Dead Man’s Phone’ is a BAFTA-NOMINATED interactive crime drama by Electric Noir Studios. Players are cast as a lead detective, tasked with solving the murder of a victim via their smartphone – combing the victim’s personal messages, photos and social media for clues.

The game combines real world video, audio and photos to create an authentic atmosphere and compelling drama.

Across this six month project, we cast over 200 actors, employed 40 crew members and shot at 25 locations.

Produced by Joseph Morel with cinematography by Callum Mills and Jon Wetherall, the entire project was shot via phone and go-pro, going for an ultra realistic “real world” approach. Police body cam arrests, prison riots and armed SWAT raids were just a few of the exciting scenes filmed during this production.
